Our People

The Pulse team has a strong track record of delivering industry-leading events in the spheres of governance, cybersecurity, risk, resilience and oversight.  With well-developed local and global networks, we collaborate with industry stakeholders, practitioners, leaders, innovators, architects, strategists, academics, investors and futurists to research and develop top of industry content and speaker panels for our events.  We aim to inspire, connect and innovate by bringing the right people together at the right time in the right place.

Sara Hook
Sara has over 15 years’ experience of creating and executing business to business conferences and bespoke events throughout her career with leading publishing and events corporates such as Globe Business Media Group, Euromoney and IQPC.  She has delivered over 160 conferences and bespoke events in 35 different countries, spanning Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Her particular passion lies in emerging markets and cybersecurity.  Sara speaks Spanish and understands French.

As a connector, Sara believes in the power of a shared story to drive action and to promote strong governance.  She approaches the research and development of programmes from within the stakeholder communities she serves – information security, corporate resilience, financial crime, internal audit, legal, governance and compliance across a mix of public/private sectors.

Collaborating with speakers, clients, partners and teams, her mission is that participants leave each event feeling inspired, connected and ready to innovate in their day to day jobs and lives.  Sara has learned to remain calm and adaptable to fast-changing landscapes onsite at conferences.

Clive Room
Clive has worked as a marketeer within cybersecurity since 2000. As the Marketing Manager at Portcullis Computer Security he organised all their bespoke events from seminars to hospitality events like the famous Portcullis Arms during Infosec. He was also responsible for their involvement with conferences and exhibitions all over Europe. His experience in promoting and presenting at cyber security events is matched by his passion for helping people understand the critical importance of mitigating the risks and protecting themselves and their organisations from cybercrime. He believes that in terms of reputational damage and operational costs, security breaches should be a key concern of everyone from the ground floor worker up to board and director level.

Clive is Chairman of The White Hat Committee, the charity for the information security industry, which raises money for ChildLine and Barnardo’s throughout the year. This January’s White Hat Ball was the most successful to date raising over two hundred thousand pounds and the next White Hat Car Rally is in September.

Clive is proud to be a part of the dynamic team bringing CISO 360 Congress to the marketplace as a game changer in cybersecurity events.
