Code of Conduct
Pulse Conferences events exist so that the security community can meet, share openly and support one another. That depends on everyone feeling able to take part, so we ask all attendees to treat others with the respect and courtesy they would expect for themselves.
Who this Code applies to
This Code applies to everyone who takes part in a Pulse event, whether in person or online: speakers, sponsors, delegates, guests, supporting organisations, team and other partners, together referred to as “attendees”. By registering for or taking part in a Pulse event, you agree to abide by it.
Our commitment
Pulse is committed to providing an inclusive, harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, or religion or belief.
We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual or discriminatory language and imagery are not appropriate at our events, at associated venues, or in online channels connected with them.
If this Code is breached
Anyone who breaches this Code may be sanctioned or asked to leave an event or venue at Pulse’s discretion, without credit or refund.
Where a concern is raised about an attendee’s conduct, during or after an event, Pulse may undertake a review. While a review is under way, the attendee concerned may be asked not to attend Pulse events. This is an interim measure and does not imply any finding. We will aim to complete any review promptly and fairly, and everyone involved will have the opportunity to give their account.
Raising a concern
If something happens at an event that concerns you, please speak to any member of the Pulse team on site. You can also raise concerns, during or after an event, by emailing [teampulse@pulseconferences.com]. All concerns are handled with discretion.
