2021 Speakers include

Derek is an experienced leader with over 20 years of professional experience in cyber security and risk management. He is currently the CISO for Deliveroo, where he is developing and implementing a security strategy and roadmap to support the company’s ambitious goals.  Prior to Deliveroo, Derek was the Chief Security Officer for TalkTalk, where he joined post their cyber attack in 2015 to rebuild the brand and protect TalkTalk’s critical infrastructure, assets, and customer data. He is also currently the CISO Advisor for Square Enix West, where he is helping build and steer their cyber security programme, and on the Advisory Panel for AND Digital overseeing their Cyber Security strategy.

Previously, Derek was the Global Head of Security and Risk Management (CISO) at Electronic Arts (EA) where he led a large, global team to protect EA’s intellectual property and sensitive data. Prior to EA, he spent over 6 years at Deloitte where he managed and performed a multitude of information security and risk management engagements for global Fortune 500 companies across various industries.

Dr Leivesley chairs regular international scientific meetings on themes of catastrophic risk covering nuclear; novel coronavirus; resilience of CNI including cyber; and resilience from hazardous near earth objects. The focus of work is generic solutions to catastrophic risks across all disciplines and practical applications to government policy and business resilience. She is an Advisor to companies and governments on protection of people and infrastructure and strategies for security and business. Worked across industry sectors gas and petrochemicals; power distribution; hazardous goods transportation by rail; underground and aboveground rail; underground mines; bulk shipping and banks. As an  International media commentator after 9/11 she has provided services for the BBC World Service and other news outlets on extreme threats – cyber; terrorism;  emerging conflicts – Kabul 2021 evacuation; South China Sea;; aviation losses; nuclear reactor explosions; Polonium-210 and Novichok poisonings, Beslan siege; Iran; DPRK; USA Presidential security abroad; Covid-19, unexplained incidents such as MH370 and chemical incidents. She has contributed to journals and books on major incidents including death and injury in disasters and expedient housing post disaster.  Director of two disaster recovery units in Australia (weather and chemical incidents) in support of community recovery. Trained by British Home Office as Scientific Advisor, CBRN, and Cold War appointment as SA on all aspects of nuclear war.  PhD London University –disasters and catastrophic risk, awarded in field of Economics; Member of the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists RSES; International Association of Bomb Technicians  and Investigator; Royal United Services Institute, and Information Assurance Advisory Council Community. Panel adviser to the first British IET and CPNI supported publication for Cyber Security in the Built Environment.

Irene is responsible for the execution of the ADSIC Information Security Programme, Security Governance, Risk and compliance to IT Security Policy. She offers 27 years of combined and diverse experience in IT (Security, Operations and Strategy), Quality & Excellence. She has worked in various industries and region and led strategic initiatives in Asia, Middle East, Europe and America. An emerging seasoned speaker on Information and Cyber Security Conferences, Irene has spoken in a number of conferences in Asia, Middle East and Europe.  Irene acquired her Masters of Science in IT from University of Wales, and holds the following certifications: ITIL V3, PMP, ISO (QMS and 27k) Lead Auditor and EFQM Assessor. He also co-founded Epsilon Advisory Partners, a strategy and growth firm working with world-leading global technology companies and investors.

Paul Haywood is the group chief information security officer for Bupa. Paul is responsible for the global approach to information security across the Bupa Group, including identifying, evaluating, and reporting on risks and meeting compliance and regulatory requirements. Paul has a honours degree in mathematics and a master’s in strategic information systems.

A successful senior Chief Information Security Officer and Operational Risk Director with a proven track record in multi-cultural and multi-national organisations, Graham bridges technical and business disciplines and communicates at all levels. He has extensive knowledge of Information Security, Cyber Security, Physical Security, BCDR, Operational Risk, Crisis Management, Data Protection, Financial Crime and Compliance. The first 16 years of Graham’s career were spent in the Diplomatic Service engaged in technical security for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He then moved to the financial services sector where he has held senior security posts with Abbey National, Standard Chartered, Barclays, RBS, HBOS and ING. Through these roles he has developed a holistic approach to risk management and security, holding responsibility for information risk, IT security, physical security, fraud, money laundering, business continuity planning, compliance, crisis management and intelligence. Graham also worked outside of the banking industry as the Group Head of Information Risk for Centrica. He then held the position of Director of Data Security at Nationwide Building Society before taking the role as Head of Information Security at Camelot Lottery Solutions. Graham is currently Interim Head of Cyber Security at Yorkshire Water. He has a master’s degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway.

Mark joins HUMAN from Bitdefender, where he held the role of Vice President of Global Sales Engineering. Prior to this, Mark held a host of engineering roles across various security companies including MalwareBytes, FireEye and Trend Micro, culminating in more than 20 years of industry experience. In his new role at HUMAN, Mark will focus on ensuring the solutions work by mapping the technical response to a business issue. Another key focus for him will be attracting talent to HUMAN’s growing London office.

Having worked in IT for nearly 40 years, specialising in information risk, protection, security and compliance for the latter 26 years or so, Marcus decided to retire in mid-2017 but was quickly lured back to take on an advisory role for a Tier 1 UK bank.  At the start of 2018, Marcus also joined the Cymmetria Advisory Board as Chief Risk Officer. In his previous role at Lloyd’s Marcus was responsible for ensuring that risks to IT and information were understood and correctly mitigated in a cost effective manner throughout the corporation, both in the UK and in its overseas locations.  His role extended to providing second line of defence assurance to this effect to Executive, Senior and Line Management.  Marcus also had corporate responsibility for Data Protection and Privacy and provided thought leadership on emerging digital related risks pertinent to the Lloyd’s market. Prior to joining Lloyd’s, Marcus was a Principal Advisor for KPMG, working in IT Advisory and specialising in information security strategy definition and implementation.  Before that Marcus was Head of Information Security for Abbey National plc, a leading UK bank, a position he held for six years following seven years as Information Risk and Security Manager for Barclaycard, a leading card issuer and merchant acquirer and part of Barclays plc.

Mena is a results-driven and detail-oriented senior cybersecurity analyst with a comprehensive background in developing new security plans ensure data CIA, business continuity, and cost-saving. Investigating security incidents, business analysis, and reporting skills, excellent technological expertise across multiple platforms. His current role at Akka Technologies – listed on Euronext – as service coordinator and support engineer. Prior to this, Mena was IT Security Analyst with Al Ahli Holding Group where he built and customized security governance framework, polices documents (Access management, Acceptable usage, Infrastructure, etc). He has specialised technical experience of:

Ray has sat on global programmes for the World Economic Forum on Cyber Resilience and the Advisory Board for the Information Security Forum. Ray has held Group CISO/CSO & EVP roles for BT, National Grid, Interoute, Redwood Technologies and Airbus UK.  He has been fortunate enough to have held global accountability, ranging from consultancy, through to design, build and run of managed services; including full profit and loss ownership for multiple business lines, while combining this experience with protection of Critical National Infrastructure in the Energy and Communications industries.

Lady Olga Maitland, Founder, Defense and Security Forum and Chairman, Copenhagen Compliance – has wide experience in all major Governance, risk Management and Compliance issues in general and global Fraud and Corruption problems in particular. She is a special adviser to a number of dignitaries and a widely sought after speaker at all Major Conferences on several Corporate Governance issues. Lady Olga is a former British MP for the Conservative party. Prior to her political career she was a reporter for the Fleet Street News Agency, a columnist in the London.
