(ISC)2 Italy Chapter, is the Italian chapter of the prestigious non-profit organization International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2, in short), the world’s largest association of cybersecurity professionals with nearly 675,000 members, candidates and associates.
The mission of (ISC)2 Italy Chapter, also a non-profit organization, is to spread awareness on all the aspects of physical and information security and to encourage a more aware and safe use of IT tools, even by non-experts, following the lines of conduct and promoting the initiatives of ISC2.
(ISC)2 Italy Chapter was born with the aim of launching initiatives aimed at sharing the experiences and information of professionals or scholars in the field of ICT Security both with a view to the objectives of ISC2 and with a view to in-depth analysis in the sector of IT security, which may include:
facilitation of the formalization of IT security skills through certifications and initiatives aimed at orientation and maintenance of these;
promote the recognition in Italy of the certifications and other initiatives that ISC2 intends to promote;
proactive/regulatory activity regarding IT security;
initiatives towards and in support of people, companies, competent authorities, national and international organizations regarding Information Security issues;

The purpose of the (ISC)² Chapter Germany e.V. is to promote the understanding and importance of information security.
This purpose shall be achieved through discussion, exchange of information and experience as well as publications and seminars for all members and interested parties.
